Welcome to Wat Satheathek Uticaram

Wat Satheathek-Uticaram was built in 2005 for our community of Cambodian refugees who settled in Utica. We have monks preside over our ceremonies and we worship at a temple in our native language of Khmer. The Venerable Chamreun Khorl is our Abbott and President.

Come visit us! The temple is welcoming to outsiders. A small group of community members worships at the temple and gives alms to the monks every morning around 11:00, an event that is open to the public. There are weekly ceremonies and the temple regularly hosts celebrations of important Buddhist holidays. Please visit our events page for more information!
